There is a democrat trickle down theory of keynesian economics that increases the money supply by government spending on government contracts at contractor prices , and bureaucrats have privy to insider trading and donations .

The benefit of government spending goes to the same billionaires that democrats claim directly benefit from the republican trickle down theory from tax cuts .

The increase in government spending increases the money supply and induces inflation , which may be good for a economy in recession , assuming that the spending is based on a directed economy for infrastructure that increases gross domestic product , rather than spending on the staple of go nowhere foreign policies and do nothing social welfare programs .

Everyone else not in the distribution stream for government contracts has to contend with elevated prices at current wages while , if government contracts fail to increase gross domestic product , wages could stagnate and further recession ensue from the aimless or over spending by government .
