Terry McAuliffe, Chris Christie, and Bill de Blasio were not the only big winners on Election Night — Fox News Channel was the most-watched cable news network of all among the 25-54 viewers who matter most to news-programming advertisers. One month after debuting on the network’s primetime lineup, Megyn Kelly‘s The Kelly File clocked 654,000 demo viewers, off a total-viewer crowd of 2.87 million. That put her ahead of Fox News’ The O’Reilly Factor in the demo (624,000), though playing second to Bill O’Reilly among overall audience (3.407 million). During Kelly’s 9 PM time slot, The Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC reported in with 313,000 demo viewers and 1.27 million overall viewers — both a best-of-night for MSNBC. Ditto CNN’s 9 PM anchor Piers Morgan for his network, logging 239,000 viewers in the news demo and 734,000 viewers overall.
