Anyone else watch this interview? It was the best interview I've seen for Trump before or since the election. He really spelled out Conservative economic policies which I suppose I shouldn't be surprised he agrees with. He is particularly energized about freeing companies from regulations which are a massive burden and frankly a government over reach. We see it in Canada and Ontario all the time, these regulations do nothing but allow the government to decide who can have a business and who cannot, typical communist tactics that stall and harm the economy to bestow and ensure the existence of a centralized government.

Even the "tax" of businesses leaving America makes sense to me at this point simply because countries have been fleecing America for so long, using nothing more than cheap labour, government freebies and dirty tricks to take American businesses, while tearing America's middle class out.

It was a strong interview by any standard, seems Trump is really finding his voice and more comfortable explaining policies with some detail. Without a doubt he has ambitious plans for the next four years and is trying to put the right people in place to enact them.

Well he called out China, basically stating that he doesn't take orders from China regarding the call he took from Taiwan. Right then and there I thought to myself, "wow, he really DOES get it". I think he's far better informed then we all think, I just believe he doesn't waste his time with people who feed him bs or have an agenda. He can see through bs fairly quickly.

For instance, when it was raised that he met with Gore and DiCaprio, he admitted it. He also followed up with some direct shots, "some people are making alot of money on climate change", or something to that effect. Now I am not a climate change denier, but there is something to be said for efforts from the world to push this narrative as America has a glut of oil on their shores which isn't being extracted.

The world wants a dependant America. If America has it's own oil resources, the economy becomes that much easier to expand. As someone who understands history and most importantly, abuses of rule of law, we need America more than ever. A place for all to see and emulate. A place of hope, dreams and individualism. Many leaders in other country don't want to see their own paper thin power diluted. The presence of a great nation like America has always done that to other insecure leaders. Everyone living in socialist nations can point to American freedoms and say "how come we don't have that?".

Thanks, that assessment certainly helps to explain why some support Trump. I like some of the things he is saying, but I do not trust him and am especially disappointed and concerned about many of the people he is surrounding himself with. He is not making informed and educated decisions and is still lying consistently about important subjects.

I didn't support Trump during the primaries. His message has resonated over time as he has more clearly formed it. Furthermore, as incoming president we should all be hoping he succeeds. He has earned the opportunity to direct the nation, that's democracy.
