AVG and Avast are free anti-virus programs

If you go to download.com they are free programs. Look at the number of times people have downloaded them.

That is how many people trust it.

My friend prefers AVG. He said if you click on the link, there is a video and you can watch what it does.

Did I say it is free? Yes, it is free. There may be a paid version that offers a little more.

I started using Avast years ago when AVG started going the invasive route of Norton and Macaffe (regular).
Yes Stinger is a great use as needed light scan tool.
