Probably one of my favorite pieces from one of my fave French composers.

I've always liked this one of his.

I love this one too, the entirety of his suite he wrote for the daughter he adored, his only daughter, Claude-Emma, who they called "Chouchou". He wrote this piece for her beloved stuffed pet Jimbo, and I love the whimsy of it. He understands children.

His daughter died at age 13 from a botched treatment for diphtheria just one year after her father died. Tragic.

Any chance of including Chopin?? His Dad was French and he died there.
