Out of the norm neighbors say after loaded gun tossed on field - Live5News.com Charleston SC News Weather Sports

I'd say "unbelievable", but anyone familiar with downtown Charleston, SC, knows the ghetto hood monsters will do stuff like this.

So The Citadel military college hosts a Sertoma High School Football classic (Sertoma is a long time charity org).

Masses of hoodrat teens swarm the stadium, since the projects are literally across the street from The Citadel. They swamp a nearby McDonalds, and McD's calls police. Fights and gunfire ensues. Some shots are fired at Charleston PD, as well as the McDonalds. CPD arrest numerous black male teens, all carrying guns.

And some ran. Some literally threw firearms ONTO the playing field of the football game. Some tried to go hide in the Altman Center, which is a SC National Guard office attached to the stadium.

Seriously. Just .......OUT...OF.....FUCKING.....CONTROL.

Meanwhile, while this is going on, a couple miles away the North Charleston police are in a car chase with 4 young black males with an assault rifle, pistols and drugs. 1 arrested 3 escape as chase from North Charleston to Mount Pleasant yields guns drugs - Post and Courier

And a couple miles down from that the Mount Pleasant police are chasing two young black males who went on a daytime home invasion and carjacking spree: Mount Pleasant burglary suspect tried to carjack motorist to escape officers police say - Post and Courier

BUT DEY GOOD BOYS YALL!

Charleston is a very integrated city. Million dollar mansions on one street, and literally section 8 projects on the next. Sometimes, you'll have a 800K home on one lot, and the next door neighbor is a run down shack.

So, we get a very distinct look at the differences in cultures. And its frightening.

And we recently had Denzell Curnell.....young ARMED black male who fatally shot himself while being arrested by a cop, and Curnell was discharged from the Army for being suicidal.

Local media went nuts.........but then realized the cop was black, so it didn't go national.

Black plight continues, and their is no simple cure. Those on the right blame the lack of individual responsibility from black fathers who abandon their kids along with a complete lack of family structure, and there is much truth in that. Those on the left blame the inability of blacks to get decent jobs because of discrimination along with the fact that most black kids in the hood never realize the same educational opportunities as kids in middle income communities, and they are mostly right about that also. It's not because of one thing alone that poor blacks continue to toil in this unending atmosphere of despair. So what is the answer? I really do not know. One thing that would be somewhat helpful would be to find a way to make young black kids find better heroes. How that is done I do not know, but when a young black kid in the hood thinks the only way out is to become a professional athlete, then there is a very big problem. Find a way to show these young kids that there are other ways out and that they can have a better life if they work for it, and maybe we would see a little bit of positive change.

There is a black man on the US Supreme Court. There was a black man as Secretary of State. There is a black man in the Oval Office. There are heros for them.

The problem also lies in the black communities. Go to a predominately black school and ask about honors day. Either they don't have one or they don't announce it. If they announce it the honors students will skip that day, so they don't get beat up for :"acting white".

Good points.

I mean...day to day, who poses more danger to a US citizen: Islamic terrorists, or, young black males? Odds are sad but true.
