There are two ways to tell if criticism leveled at Israel, is valid and true:
  1. By the volume of condemnation and level of vitriol towards the authors and anyone in agreement with them.
  2. a topic no one will even discuss.
The Goldstone Report, judging from the amount of responses in this thread, happens to be the latter. In contrast, there are many posts in several other threads about how Hamas uses children as human shields, although the Goldstone Report found no evidence of this. Even if it was true, why does that take the lions share of the disussion, when the Israeli's have killed Palestinian children 100 times that amount.

And those were the ones who got off lucky...

Intimidation and torture

Palestinian children living in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip under the illegal Israeli occupation are subjected to brutal treatment and illegal imprisonment, torture and intimidation by the Israeli security forces. According to a report by Defence for Children International (DCI), “a pattern of systematic ill-treatment emerges, much of which amounts to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, as defined in the UN Convention against Torture, and in some cases, torture – both of which are absolutely prohibited.”

Since 1967 Palestinian children and adults have been subjected to Israeli military law, a legal system based on prejudice and short on justice. During this period 726,000 Palestinians have been arrested and detained. The numbers of children arrested and taken from their homes is shocking. According to DCI, in the past 11 years alone “around 7,500 children, some as young as 12 years, are estimated to have been detained, interrogated and imprisoned within this system. This averages out at between 500-700 children per year, or nearly two children each and every day.”

Almost a quarter of all children arrested are held in solitary confinement. Children, mainly boys, aged from 12 to 17 years are forcefully taken from their families, often at night, imprisoned, beaten and tortured, intimidated and on occasion subjected to electric shocks. Most children are detained for the terrible crime of throwing stones at soldiers armed with M16 rifles and tear gas.
You don't even need the Goldstone Report to know if it's true (or not). Just look at the reaction by the pro-Israeli crowd when you bring up one of these instances. If you say a Palestiinian kid was blown to bits by an Israeli landmine, the pro-Israel response would go something like this...

..."Well, what makes you think Hamas didn't have the kid deliberately walk into the landmine?"

The pro-Israeli crowd, has lost all sense of humanity and reason.

Why don't you post some recent reports?

Deflection from the chimp, who claimed that hamas does not possess anti-tank rockets, never fired them, and never fired them at a tank.

You keep making idiotic lies, and we'll make sure we keep humiliating you.

How does that shoe leather taste when you've swallowed it so far it is sticking out of your ass, moron?

Believe me, your mindless rants are not humiliating at all.

So there are now anti-tank rockets in gaza, how did they get there?

You do know they fire them at the moon, don't you and they sing to them, the way you do to your little invisible friend - represented in person by your teddy bear - every night?

From the arrogant, angry, clueless, witless and brainless internet teen still claiming that the Oslo accords are officially not in existence anymore, amongst other nonsense.
I proved they weren't. I posted the evidence that corroborated my claim, one of which, was a former Israeli Prime Minister saying the agreement was dead. And I got you to go from

"saying it was..." [still into effect],

to

"If it was..."

And like the little coward that you are, here you come trying to sneak it back in to score a phoney debate point.

"In the past 10 years Israeli forces have killed at least 255 Palestinian minors by fire to the head, and the number may actually be greater, since in many instances the specific bodily location of the lethal trauma is unlisted.

"In addition, this statistic does not include the many more Palestinian youngsters shot in the head by Israeli soldiers who survived, in one form or another..."

"A 2009 article in the UK Telegraph entitled 'Bullets in the brain, shrapnel in the spine: the terrible injuries suffered by children of Gaza,' investigated a situation in which doctors at a hospital near Gaza were 'almost overwhelmed by the number of Palestinian children needing treatment for bullet wounds to their heads.'”/2/

"The article began: 'On just one day last week staff at the El-Arish hospital in Sinai were called to perform sophisticated CAT brain scans on a nine-year-old, two 10-year-olds and a 14-year-old ? each of whom had a bullet still lodged in their brain, after coming under fire during the Israeli ground assault on Gaza.'

"Asked about the nature of these shootings, a physician replied:

“'I can’t precisely decide whether these children are being shot at as a target, but in some cases the bullet comes from the front of the head and goes towards the back, so I think the gun has been directly pointed at the child.'"

"Counterpunch"? Why don't you refer to the klan website, fuckbrain? Would probably be more respected.

For the humans, why so many complaints are made about the jews when they use a bomb to take out a terrorist in an apartment building - yet bashar the animal takes out entire cities with artillery and mortar fire - and not a peep from this same dogshit...

Wonder why, fucktards. :cuckoo:

Good post.

Too bad the program will not allow me to give you a positive rep.

"...killing families in their homes late at night.

United Nations monitors visiting the village counted at least 92 bodies, including at least 32 children, and found spent tank shells, which they cited as evidence that the Syrian military had violated its part of a truce in firing heavy artillery at civilians. A United Nations statement said the observers confirmed that “artillery and tank shells were fired at a residential neighborhood.”

Amateur videos said to be taken in the aftermath showed row after row of victims, many of them small children with what appeared to be bullet holes in their temples. Other videos showed gruesome shrapnel wounds caused by what activists said was a barrage of shelling that started Friday in response to demonstrations after the weekly prayer service and that continued Saturday."

Reconsidering the Goldstone Report on Israel and war crimes - The Washington Post

"We know a lot more today about what happened in the Gaza war of 2008-09 than we did when I chaired the fact-finding mission appointed by the U.N. Human Rights Council that produced what has come to be known as the Goldstone Report. If I had known then what I know now, the Goldstone Report would have been a different document.

I insisted on changing the original mandate adopted by the Human Rights Council, which was skewed against Israel. I have always been clear that Israel, like any other sovereign nation, has the right and obligation to defend itself and its citizens against attacks from abroad and within. Something that has not been recognized often enough is the fact that our report marked the first time illegal acts of terrorism from Hamas were being investigated and condemned by the United Nations. I had hoped that our inquiry into all aspects of the Gaza conflict would begin a new era of evenhandedness at the U.N. Human Rights Council, whose history of bias against Israel cannot be doubted.

So, too, the Human Rights Council should condemn the inexcusable and cold-blooded recent slaughter of a young Israeli couple and three of their small children in their beds."
