Venezuelan former presidential candidate Edmundo Gonzalez said on Friday that he intended to travel back to his country on Jan. 10 to take office as "elected president".
Gonzalez attended a business event in Spain and, in his first public speech since arriving there after being forced to leave Venezuela, told the audience that he was president-elect and that his stay in Spain was temporary.

So, is he just talking smack from far away, or will he really go back.

It's a bloody mess in the world right now. Worse than ever in my lifetime save for the immediate aftermath of 9/11.

whats funny is how the die hards on both sides just cant see how alike they are...

They see what they want to see, or maybe what they are allowed to see.

Their entire world would come crashing down if they were to see it. Everything in their lives is tied to partisan politics. It is impossible to have a discussion on this forum about any topic without someone adding in partisan politics

That is what they want you to believe, the more fear you live in, the more control you give away.
It's not fear surprisingly, I only fear G-d.

It's more pragmatism. I'm slowing starting to return to this way of thinking after many months of health issues on top of other challenges.

We need to avoid WWIII and we need a return of American strength and economic viability beyond a year or two. These aforementioned objectives are symbiotic.

He maybe will. They will force him to like they forced Navalny to go back to Russia. They are of no use in Europe.
There is an arrest warrant against Gonzales. He will be arrested upon his arrival - he knows that. He is done.
