How can it not? Time and time again, the Trump people who've been questioned about it have paltered and prevaricated "left and right" so as to, rather than allowing the full story to be easily and quickly discovered, make it harder and harder to get to the truth of what their involvement was at various points along the timeline of events.

Foremost among those acts is Trump firing Comey and then saying to Russians that his having done so will relieve some of the pressure on the "Russia" investigation. To this day, it makes no sense to me why someone who, as Trump has averred, did not collude or conspire with Russians regarding the election, voting or election process would want to relieve the pressure of an investigation into a matter of that sort. If one didn't do anything wrong, one need only go on about other matters and let the investigation go wherever the hell it goes because the one place it ain't goin', if one is indeed innocent of wrongdoing, is back to oneself.
