Private-sector jobs grow by 235,000 in February, vs 195,000 expected

Job creation saw another powerful month in February, with companies adding 235,000 positions, ADP and Moody's Analytics reported Wednesday.

The total again defied Wall Street expectations, as economists surveyed by Thomson Reuters were expecting payrolls to grow by 195,000. Growth actually decelerated slightly, as January posted an upwardly revised 244,000 from the initially reported 234,000.

February marked the fourth month in a row that private payrolls hit 200,000 or better...

I listen to Trump speaking to the Latino business community today, he is motivating, he is what the quintessential Americans USED to be. Bold, ambitious, patriotic, risk taker, man of action, common sense cutting through the B.S. In this meeting he pushed immigration reform as well, based on merit and skill, talked about DACA, was an interesting speech at their Summit. Spoke about the 3 million new jobs since his election as well.

Congratulations! Trump has finally managed to equal Obama’s average job creation of 234,000 jobs per month in 2016.

This is lower than than the 242,000 that Obama’s had in February of 2016.

Why does he say "since the election"? He started working ( LOL ) at the end of January, 2017. Not in November, 2016. You don't think he's trying to take credit for the work of others, do ya?
