It sounds more and more like 1917 N2
So to begin with, Moscow imperial Railways wasn’t able to provide all the shipping that the coal companies required. The system was overloaded. No Transport led to a shut down in production. The railways & coal are heavily tied together.
To make a long story short, a series of bad decisions by Moscow
imperial Railways YEARS ago followed by the repercussions of the 2022 invasion has put Moscow
imperial Railway it a bad position. They were likely going to end up here anyway, but the events of 2022 likely accelerated things.
Years ago Moscow imperial Railways - a monopoly - eliminated their ENTIRE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT .In the time since then, locomotives have not been properly maintained. In addition about half of their locomotives are over 20 years old, and parts are no longer made.
The older locomotives take longer to repair, something that took a very painfully long study for the leadership to comprehend (like duh, old stuff takes more upkeep) plus finding the parts also is challenging. On top of that, their maintenance staff is become overloaded.

BRICS leaders refused to congratulate Putin on his birthday for the second year in a row
That’s priceless!! We all will congratulate the ⚰️death of the most hated 'man' in the world. Nothing less. in 2024, the Moscow tsar received the fewest congratulations from foreign heads of state since the beginning of the war in Ukraine.
