I'm an American and I see countries' religion and state as separate whether they like it or not. As far as I'm concerned both Israel and Palestine are full of terrorists. Agreed 100%. As a Catholic I say go ahead and criticize a government with an official religion of Catholicism all you want. That’s entirely different from criticizing Catholics in general. Israel is a nuclear country. They’re not going anywhere…its astonishing that some people actually believe the country is facing an existential threat. Israel has now made alliances with almost all of their Arab majority Muslim neighbors.

No government in this world is free from criticism. And only those tyrant governments want to spread the idea that if you criticize their government, you’re a bigot.

I meant about four or five people from Israel in Southeast Asia. These are wonderful people who supported their country. Very nice to talk with.

On the other hand some of the supporters of Israel in the west are using Radical left tactics…how they constantly insult or make up the views of those who oppose their viewpoint. They use blm tactics including calling for free speech to be shut down.

Common ground? That's a pretty strange concept here. In my nearly 15 years of posting here, I have seen very little common ground. That's because people on this board are here to support a politician, party, or concept and to destroy the opposition.

I tend to attack people who saying that Israel is causing genocide in Gaza. I mean come on, Hamas uses human shields. Also there is no evidence for a genocide by Israel. Those people are obviously Pro Hamas.
