:oops-28: :stupid: :slap: One of the most common and stupid accidents is when some kid goes to check and see why the firework didn't take off? Right?, and then the kid goes to check and take a closer look at the firework to see what went wrong, and we all know how those "Inexcusable Accidents" end up. :oops-28:
Or how about those explosions that occur before the firework is taken out to the field.:oops-28:
Got to love those people who smoke at firework booths/stores!
And time to time, these geniuses often blow off a few fingers.:cuckoo:
Well, if you have any local/national stories for us, we love to hear them, think of it as your version of "Worlds Dumbest Firework Handlers" :oops-28:

Got to love those few dilemmas when the handler has an explosive inside some metal container/steel trash cash can, and takes a look inside it to see why the fuse went out.

Kid (well, young man) died when the firework didn't go off, he thought it was a dud and stuck it on his head. And it went off.

i remember that story lady....he was wearing it and it exploded...darwin winner right there

last week someone blew up a walmart display....

Right outside of where I work, a guy just nailed a police car.

and all of those accidents where these kids are holding the explosive in their hand, about to throw it, but it goes off in their hand?

To the extent that there are redneck communities which allow their rednecks to shoot off their own fireworks there will always be accidents simply because accidents happen.

Best thing is go to a pro fireworks show and leave the dangerous work to the pro's.

There is no sense in playing with pyrotechnics. Just pure stupid -- and redneck.

in some extreme cases, we have had a few guys blow at least one hand off,,,,was it worth it?
