This is how you can tell the AGWCult is an insane death worshiping Cult of mindless drones just spewing the talking points of their Masters and funders who live in oceanfront mansions and laugh themselves sick at the Jihadist fervor of their gullible followers

In any given year there is a 35F annual change in sea temperature in NY. But the insane, death worshiping AGWCult minions tell us that 1.7F over 150 years will end all life in the seas? Insane, right?

Queensland has annual average temperatures much lower than NY, their high temperature are about 10F lower than NY. So how dishonest it is to tell us that an imaginary 1.7F increase is deadly?

Moreover, how are these imaginary "historic temperatures" derived? There is far more scientific evidence for Bigfoot than there is for AGW

What was the warming rate back then and what data do you actually have on how corals fared?
enough to melt an ice sheet over one mile thick, so what do you supposed caused all that warming before man was here? Still waiting cuck.

No need to, the claim was 'record' temps..................the question is and was, are these to be an anomaly or the norm.

Quit deflecting.
Your original comment did not include the term "to be". It read "Are record warm ocean temps the norm or an anomaly?". As I said then, record temperatures, by definition, are an anomaly. If you were unaware that the long term prediction for temperatures, both of the air and the oceans, is upwards, then you haven't been paying attention.

Since we do not KNOW the future, judging something an anomaly is always based on comparisons with the past. Just as we can made estimates of what the future holds, we can estimate whether or not something will continue to be anomalous or become the new norm. The long term predictions of temperature answer that point clearly.

Doesn't matter.....MSM are the ones crowing about 'record water temp's'......are these the new norm or an anomaly?

You're a climate exspurt.....tell us.

I generally agree that there is no such thing as a stupid question, but yours strain that truism. Figure it out for yourself.
