Tried to watch it, was to boring.

It was tedious for a spell...turned into riveting in the second half...and even more so in the fourth quarter. No wonder it was judged the Best Movie of 1940.

You should have hung in there a bit longer. Seventeen minutes is hardly long enough to get interests up....and you really want to be a film critic, you have to watch the whole thing so you can honestly say that it sucked!
