As the Russia Russia Russia BS continues...............business is still under way in our Gov't.

The House passing 2 immigration bills to toughen border security.

Now it's up to the Senate to send it to Trump's Desk. Will the RINO's block this as well.

House Votes to Protect American Communities

H.R. 3003: The No Sanctuary for Criminals Act, the most decisive action yet against sanctuary cities, addresses state and local prohibitions on communication with federal immigration enforcement by authorizing detainers and withholding DHS grants from the noncompliant among other changes to the law. The legislation is required because the most egregious sanctuary cities continue to remain defiant, putting the safety of their communities at risk in order to protect criminal aliens from deportation.

H.R. 3004: Kate’s Law, named after illegal alien victim Kate Steinle, will help ensure that deportation is not a revolving door for serial immigration scofflaws. The government will now have greater ability to impose tougher consequences on criminal aliens who return, wrongly betting that we are not serious about our laws.

The Battle Rages on...................

AG Sessions Set to Block Millions in Funding to Sanctuaries

It is significant because a large share of the funds awarded in this program go to sanctuary jurisdictions. For example, according to DOJ records, the four largest grants, and seven out of the top 10 recipients of the Byrne/JAG grants are sanctuaries. Under the new rules announced by Sessions, these four top grant-getters (New York City, Cook County, Ill., the City of Los Angeles, and Philadelphia) are likely to be disqualified from these grants in the future if they maintain their current policies toward ICE. These cities received more than $10 million in grants in 2016.

See the table below for a list of sanctuary jurisdictions that received Byrne/JAG grants in 2016. Sanctuary jurisdictions received $32.7 million in 2016.

And when the Immigration laws get tougher......................................

Most people don't know it but the house has passed more than 300 bills. They're not sitting on their hands.

Bullshit bills that are nothing more than political masturbation.

:link::link::link:

How many of those 300 bills have become law?

At least 43 and here's a list of the others. You know political masturbation like the NDAA, sanctions on N. Korea, Iran and Russia. That one has already passed the senate 98-2.

It will take 60 votes to advance it through the Senate. HR 3003 is DOA as it should be. Essentially they want to federalize local law enforcement involuntarily. I believe is states rights even when they do something I don't agree with. Trump supporters like states' rights only when they do something they like.

Trump's Use of the Congressional Review Act Is a Legislative Milestone - Breitbart

13 CRA's killing Obama policy.

:woohoo:

That means that coal producers can put coal waste in rivers thereby polluting it. Maybe Republicans ought to have some of that water shoved down their throats. What Republicans have shown is that they are bought and sold by big business. Some of them I agree with some I do not. There is no thought given to this.

Yeah, I remember the right suing Arizona because immigration is a federal issue. Make up your mind.
