Per the below web page in 2010 the American Hospital Association calculated the total amount of unpaid care absorbed by hospitals to be $39.3 billion.
ObamaCare Medicaid Expansion

To save all these hospitals this $39.3 billion annually it will cost:
It was one of candidate Obama’s most vivid and concrete campaign promises.
This candidate solemnly pledged on June 5, 2008: “In an Obama administration, we’ll lower premiums by up to $2,500 for a typical family per year….. We’ll do it by the end of my first term as President of the United States.”
Unfortunately, the experts working for Medicare’s actuary have (yet again[1]) reported that in its first 10 years, Obamacare will boost health spending by “roughly $621 billion” above the amounts Americans would have spent without this misguided law

Obamacare Will Increase Health Spending By $7,450 For A Typical Family of Four - Forbes

So let me get this straight...
To cover the "uninsured" that cost hospitals $39.3 billion annually, Obamacare will increase on ALL OF US, an average per year of $62.1 Billion!
Does that make sense to save the 5,008 hospitals an average of $7,847,444 per hospital while costing all of us $62.1 Billion?

It seems very strange that majority of you don't seem perturb that the government is going to save hospitals $39.3 billion at a cost of $62 billion a year.
Yet on second thought most you idiots that supported "single payer system" that was suppose to cover the remaining 4 million people that truly want and need health insurance have NO problem in totally using a jack hammer when a simple screwdriver solves the problem!

Only the terminally gullible believe that saving money was the point of Obamacare.

Hey look EVEN critics of Obamacare fall for the "46 million uninsured" figure and I guarantee that at least 7 of those
that voted "YES" for Obamacare which is the margin it passed by, NEVER NEVER knew that:
1) 10 million of the 46 million were not citizens...from the Census and yet the are part of the 46 million!
2) The Census admits 14 million counted as "uninsured' really only needed BEFORE ACA register for Medicaid! They were eligible for Medicaid.
3) 18 million people Never needed health insurance under 34. Could afford make over $50k but didn't see need to waste money on employers' plans!

Subtract those 42 million from 46 million and that leaves ONLY 4 million that truly WANTED and NEEDED health insurance!
Think about ! It would be so very very simple to write a simple bill that would pay a $5,000 per person premium!

ACA would NEVER have passed if the phony baloney 46 million number weren't used! There was NO NEED!

How many of you idiots ACCEPT the premise that "hey let's spend $62 Billion a year TO SAVE $39.3 Billion"?

Just wondering...how many times has this misinformation been posted on here since it was released to the hounds last September? Or are you really so dumb you think this is breaking news? GIVE UP.

Are you going to post it again in another eight months?

It's been thoroughly debunked by the guys who brought us Obama's Lie of the Year.

Fighting Premium Spin with More Spin

In a mailer to Virginia voters, the conservative Heritage Action calls out President Obama for breaking his promise to save families up to $2,500 in premiums per year under his health care overhaul. But the group makes its own misleading claims about premiums in the process.

The mailer falsely claims “Obamacare will increase premiums an average of $7,450 for families.” That’s the increase in national health care spending attributable to the law for every four people over nine years — as 30 million uninsured Americans gain coverage. It’s not an average annual premium increase.

The mailer also wrongly says “Virginians will experience between 3% and 67% in premium increases.” The study it cites actually said premium changes would range from a decrease of 19 percent to an increase of 67 percent. And the estimates are only for the individual market, where 5 percent of Virginians buy insurance, and do not account for subsidies that many will receive.

Heritage Action, a 501(c)4 arm of the conservative Heritage Foundation think tank, starts off by saying, “Obama and Virginia liberals promised a $2,500 reduction in health care premiums for families.” And it goes on to falsely say: “In real dollars, Obamacare will increase premiums an average of $7,450 for families.” That figure comes from a Forbes contributor who calculated the per-capita amount of the increase in health care spending over nine years because of the Affordable Care Act and then multiplied it by four.
It’s a nine-year figure, compared with Obama’s $2,500 one-year figure. Neither of the numbers pertains only to premiums — despite what then-candidate Obama said — and they’re both based on a loose definition of “average family.”

All of those points are made clear by the Forbes contributor who calculated the $7,450 number.

I DIDN"T make ANY reference to INDIVIDUALS premiums increase you dummy!

A) The MEDICARE report you can download from here: ..http://www.cms.gov/Research-Statistics-Data-and-Systems/Statistics-Trends-and-Reports/NationalHealthExpendData/Downloads/Proj2012.pdf

By 2022 and increase cumulative health spending by roughly $621 billion.
Do you understand??? ACA/Obamacare will INCREASE cumulative $621 billion or $62.1 billion a year....

B) YOU dumb f..k!
In 2009 5008 hospitals reported $39.1 billion in unreimbursed expenses!
Source: Health Forum, AHA Annual Survey Data, 1980-2009 http://www.aha.org/content/00-10/10uncompensatedcare.pdf

SO again I ask a very very simply question!!!
If hospitals are spending $39.1 billion a year in unreimbursed expenses DUE TO THE UNINSURED...AND ACA was suppose to reduce the UNINSURED
costs to hospitals and it costs $62.1 billion a year to do that?????

NO wonder you guys are so f...king messed up!

SO again... does IT MAKE SENSE to spend $62 billion a year to SAVE hospitals $39 billion????
More importantly:
1) 10 million of the supposedly 46 million uninsured ARE NOT CITIZENS!!
2) 14 million of the uninsured ARE COVERED under Medicaid and therefore hospitals would NOT have the $39 billion in expenses!
3) 18 million of the UNINSURED PAY THEIR OWN WAY!!! They don't need health insurance as they are under 34, make over $50k and don't need employers' plans!

That adds up to 42 million BOGUS numbers of the 46 million!
TRULY less then 4 million are uninsured!

You're using 2009 numbers. I know a hospital administrator who told me industry wide in 2013 the number for uninsured costs for hospitals hit $100 Billion.

Just think, if Reagan hadn't deregulated and allowed insurance companies to invest in high risk investments we'd not be talking about this today.

Just think, if Reagan hadn't deregulated and allowed insurance companies to invest in high risk investments we'd not be talking about this today.

The American Hospital Association recently published a report showing that in 2011 U.S. community hospitals incurred $41.1 billion in uncompensated care
costs, equivalent to 5.9 percent of their total expenses.

The above is the latest figure I could find.
So let's see how realistic $100 billion is USING the growth rate from the previous years of :
2006 -- $31.2 billion...
2007 -- $34
2008 -- $36.4
2009 -- $39.1
2011 -- $41.1

http://www.aha.org/content/14/14uncompensatedcare.pdf

And your "administrator told figure of $100 billion in 2013..
So from 2006 to 2011 unreimbursed expenses jumped from $31.2 billion to $41.1 billion an increase of 31% Sounds reasonable... right?
BUT your knowledgeable administrator said that it JUMPED from $41.1 in 2011 to $100 billion in 2013 an increase of $58.9 billion in 3 years or:
143% increase in just 3 years!
Historically the above increases averaged in those 5 years I reported above 7.1% and YOU expect ME to believe that in 3 years it jumped 143%???

See the problem you have is YOU didn't document! YOU GUESSED!

AGAIN AND AGAIN...
A) Please tell me how we can have 46 million "uninsured" when
1) 10 million are not citizens,
2) 14 million SHOULD BE ENROLLED but due to Obama's failure ARE NOT under previous Medicaid!
3) 18 million that don't need, can afford their employers' health plans AND YET YOU and other ignorant people are counting them as "uninsured" just to puff the numbers!
B) Tell me again... how the "uncompensated expenses JUMPED 143% and the SOLUTION to solve it is to INCREASE health costs $621 BILLION over the next 10 years???
THAT solves the problem???

OH and your comment: Just think, if Reagan hadn't deregulated and allowed insurance companies to invest in high risk investments we'd not be talking about this today."
I'm going to ask you some very very simple questions!
1) Who pays the claims insurance companies and Medicare get from health care providers?
A) The insurance companies and Medicare...RIGHT???
2) How much of the insurance premiums do you think the insurance companies use to pay these claims? Multiple choice..
a) 30% of premiums are used to pay claims the rest goes into expensive overhead executive salaries and evil Profit! Right?
b) 60% "" """ """ """ """ "" """ """ """ """ "" """ """
c) 80% "" """ """ """ """ "" """ """ """ """ "" """ """
FACTS FACTS!!!

C) OVER 80% of premium dollars went out in benefit payments....from 1965 to 2009! 80%!
AND THESE idiots who wrote the ACA NOW FORCE it to be 85%!

$Screen Shot 2014-05-01 at 11.06.08 PM.png

AGAIN dumb people like YOU who stupidly believe $100 billion in 2013, there are 46 million uninsured... ALL you have to do is a little
research and YOU'll SEE how fu...k ing dumb you are!

People are starting to tell Our Kenyan President that they're tired of his excusing his ineptitude by flaming Bush.

He finally noticed and now is blaming Reagan. Coming soon: Blame Kennedy?
