Steady rain so far coming in at the North east side of my property . A lot of natural wind breaks on that side so it should break up the speed of the wind some.

The storm moved south so I got some brief strong winds the west side of the county got worse. Me and my property got lucky on this one.

Florida cleaned up pretty quick from a hurricane that was touted as the storm of the century. Apparently the deaths were from an east coast Florida tornado or two or three. Flights have resumed to Orlando.

I said a prayer for you all in the Hurricane Helene thread (post #117). It is applicable to this hurricane as well. Trust God in that He is doing something, moving something, restoring something, changing and rearranging something(s). Just trust God.

I will say that I do find it mysterious as to how these hurricanes keep curving towards Florida (Trump's residence) right at election time as if they are manmade and guided that way. Overall God is our all and all "powerful" God and He is in control.
