Division 99, the only reserve division in the Gaza Strip, has been fighting for the past few months in the area of the central corridor of the Gaza Strip. During the fighting, a kilometer-long tunnel was destroyed, dozens of terrorists were eliminated and more than 100 terrorist infrastructures were destroyed. In addition, the forces attacked a mosque, which was a place of stay and fortification for the terrorists.
During the division's fighting, the "Alexandroni" and "Hazaken" brigade combat teams eliminated dozens of terrorists and destroyed more than 100 terrorist infrastructures, military depots, observation posts, launch pits and underground tunnel routes. In cooperation with the forces of the Yahalom unit, the forces destroyed a terrorist tunnel with a length of one kilometer which included branches that were used for the movement of terrorists in the area.
