Three of the world's most powerful countries are making a bid for world supremacy.

Today Russia is announcing that they have captured their objective and will claim to stopping short of taking more territory.

But there are indications that new heavy artillery is being supplied to Ukrainian forces with which to carry on the war with bombardment of Russian territory and Russia's newly acquired territory.

Will Russia be faced with trying to eliminate Ukraine's artillery with pinpoint strikes using advanced missile technology? Will that be seen by the US as not abiding by the rules on limitations to the hostilities.

Nobody really knows for sure as this is becoming warfare that hasn't been tested so far. Previously, only one side has had the capability of effective offense and defense of the latest in missile technology.

Advanced missile capabiliity of both sides is likely to become the methods of both sides. Which side will escalate to the latest missile technology first. If it's the US, will Russia follow through with it's warnings to America?

At least we can speculate, in the interest of making some of the threads on the war into discussions.
