Reagan signed a package of documents that protected Americans from genetically modified shit. Are these laws still in effect?

Apparently not.

The whole "GMO" Panic is funny. Apparently modifying a crop to withstand certain diseases is a bad thing.
They do not guarantee that the DNA code of the modified products will not enter the cell and will not work as a virus that reprograms the cell.

Did you know that corn from the most abundant stalks, were genetically modified, but people are too stupid to know it is? Did you know, that you personally are genetically modified since man first stepped on this planet? I am so fucking tired of hearing about GMO this, and GMO that, just fucking eat it, the only people who care are those who pull the wool over your eyes, saying that their food is GMO free, which it isnt.

The advantage of genetically modified corn is that it has a higher level of hardiness. It can be resilient in difficult growing conditions, such as drought, or be able to withstand an infestation of weeds or pests to still produce a good yield. That allows croplands to become more consistent in what they can produce.

It's about artificial modification.
