Like in Rome, the corruption is BIG....but with size comes sloppiness, inefficient bureaucracy, liabilities in the form of assets. I see it eventually failing in the same way the Soviet Union failed. It's NOT communism or socialism though. Unfortunately many of the right wingers are.too ignorant to see this. It is COLLECTIVE CORPORATE CAPITALISM, where governments are bought and sold, almost literally - the OPPOSITE of government controlling business.

The people who identify as "right wing" or conservative won't be able to defeat this until they learn to see it for what it really is. The people who they identify as "the left" only appear that way because they have a collectivist bureaucracy which is something that communism and capitalism can have in common.

This is partly why these criminals in our government are constantly pointing fingers at Russia. Russia used to be a collectivist country. It really isn't now.
