Of the Palestinian fatalities since 2005, six were killed by rubber-coated metal bullets and two by teargas canisters, both supposedly non-lethal weapons which were fired directly at protesters, B'Tselem said.

"In practice, members of the security forces make almost routine use of these weapons in unlawful, dangerous ways, and the relevant Israeli authorities do too little to prevent the recurrence of this conduct," the report said.

The other 48 protesters killed where hit by live ammunition, according to the group.

do you have a point tinnie? persons flinging rocks
would not be called "UNARMED" in my city-----until
they were in jail or dead

All that says is that a Palestinian is safer where he is than if he lived in Chicago.
Wrong! What that say's, is the Israeli's have no regard for human rights or the rule of law.

They've chosen fascism over democracy; an apartheid state over a jewish one.

6 since 2005?

That's surprisinly good considering how violent those "unarmed" protesters can get.
The ones they shot were un-armed and having a peaceful, non-violent protest, that was broken up with deadly force.

The fact that you can't even bring yourself to comment on that, say's a lot about you!

Palestinian or Iranian Jews are safer than Israeli Jews.

Do you have a point?

That's amusing: where are the 'Palestinian' Jews??? Do you mean the folks the Jordanians 'cleansed' from East Jerusalem in the late '40's ?

there are two or three people who are TECHNICALLY JEWS (ie jewish mothers)
living in -- gaza. I have encountered LOTS of Iranian jews------since the 1960s
they did not feel "safe" in iran -----which is why more than 90% left----make that
about 95%

Peaceful my ass.

When they say non-violent they usually mean without guns and knives.

But ALL protests they have include stone throwing which risk lives of civilians and soldiers alike.

Peaceful. Pfft.

And Loinie: if apartheid is so heinous, why haven't the posters who claim Israel is 'an apartheid state' made ANY criticism to the new poster here who ADVOCATES APARTHEID for the USA????
