I studied journalism in college. I always maxed out my placement tests, so what I see is you nitpicking my word usage, spelling and punctuation and you're unable to respond to the meaning or context of what I'm posting.

I'm sure there are some words or phrases I use that you think are incorrect, but to be honest, I'm not a writer. I don't do it for a living. Most of the time I'm just typing stuff out and not paying attention to every single detail. I don't think it's all that important on a msg board.

However I can type at 75 wpm.

Writing is the best way I know to keep my mind sharp.

My memory has improved since I started posting on msg boards.......and so has my spelling and punctuation.

There are some times I'm in a hurry to post a response.....and thus I post comments with mistakes.

Most writers proofread everything before they submit it. Even then they have to pay someone to double-check everything before it goes to the editor or goes to print.

I don't always bother.

I'm not being paid here. This is just a hobby.
