The war in South Sudan has come to an end in favour of South Sudans army against the rebels led by the former Vice President. The fierce fighting has left a lot of people killed or displaced outnumbering those who were displaced or killed during the civil war between two Sudans before the secession in 2011.

The important question what is the future of the Sudanese rebel groups which fought along the South Sudanese government?.

The Sudanese rebel movements are waiting for political reward from the South Sudanese government for engagement in the fighting.

Its true that South Sudanese government is grateful to these movements, but actually the newborn state cannot continue supporting these movements to launch new attacks against the neighbouring Sudan.

Supporting these movements will drag the new state into new confrontation with Khartoum. Juba will never repeat the same lesson.

Juba will not support these movements not because Sudan has opted for South Sudans stability, but because Khartoum is aware of Jubas weak spots.

The South Sudanese people whose hearts were broken believe that the Sudanese rebel groups are no longer trustable or honest. These movements have looted South Sudanese banks and public and private properties. The existence of these movements are unwelcome.

The people of South Sudan have seen nothing but war and destruction since armed violence flared up. The violence is against the wishes of the south Sudanese people and in fact absconded all their hopes.

What the people of South Sudan need now is shelter, hospitals, schools, roads and clean water. These services have hardly existed. President Kiir therefore will not allow foreign existence in his country in the coming period.

He will be embarked on better services and patching up the social texture in the broken country which has become a hub of scrambling circles.
