No, i doubt that. It would have been easier to murder him if he wasnt all drugged out on downers. He might have charged at them or at least had been standing when he was shot. Its harder to claim self defense when the toxicology shows drugs in his system and the angle of the shots shows that he was in his bed.

He was a dirt bag though. Its hard to feel too sorry for him, but it sucks that those dirty cops got away with murder.
