She probably misspoke and meant pollution instead of population. BUT, without realizing it, she hit the nail on the head. Assuming that global temps are rising due to people, then there is really only one way to walk back the pollution caused by people, and that is to cut down on the number of people.

Ever since Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit and did the dirty deed, the world's population had been growing exponentially and people have needed more and more food, shelter, places to work, ways to travel, and a myriad of other things in order to survive over all of these years.

Hell, we invented fire and the wheel. Now we find out that both fire and the wheel have brought us to this point of increasing global temps. As long as the world's population continues to grow, we're screwed. No matter how many trillions of dollars we spend fighting global warming, the more people the planet has, the more pollution there will be.

We'll never be able to adapt Climate Change policies to get ahead of the population growth rate. The only way out is cull billions of people. So, Kami is right. Until the left accept this reality, we will never make any progress on global temps, no matter how hard we try. So, the left either need to do the right thing and cull billions of people or they need to throw in the towel and shut the fuck up.

Of course, this is all assuming that people really are responsible for global warming.
