I admire the intent of the mostly Christian group attempts to feed what they describe as "the hungry" with canned food donations but it's mostly a feelgood endeavor. Notice they use the term "hungry" which has such a broad meaning that it's virtually useless. Nobody has been the victim of starvation in the greatest Country in the world since FDR was president unless it was intentional, a criminal act or a medical condition so food banks are mostly an insulting comment on society.

All these extra rules may be emotionally satisfying but ultimately make these programs more cumbersome and increase bureaucracy and lead to government bloat.
