Did we elect a finance-wizard as U.S. President (Donald Trump) because we are obsessed with capitalism in America in this modern age of profiteerism-gauged geo-political networking (e.g., European Union, NATO, etc.)?

Trump is the first 'celebrity' (a media-savvy venture-capitalist and head of the impressive but now-closed Trump Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey) to be elected as U.S. President since Ronald Reagan (a former movie-actor).

When my sister was a baby, her photogenic features drew the attention of an advertising company that wanted to use her photo for an annual calendar, but my parents were wary of introducing her to the 'world' of marketing at such a young age and selling her profile for profit.

These days, people do not express such 'everyday' worries...but maybe they should.

These days, kids see various colorful comic book 'super-villains' such as Ra's al Ghul (an anti-industrialization eco-terrorist) and Kingpin (a corrupt tycoon) serve as 'diplomats' of social critique in this time of capitalism explosion.

America's only real free-market competitor is China, and European nations had to 'unionize' to compete more professionally with the domination wielded by the United States.

As Gordon Gekko said in the Oliver Stone film Wall Street, "[In modern pro-capitalism times,]...greed is good!"

How much should we praise the Trump Administration for its 'pro-profiteerism stances,' because I'm wary(!) of its lack of focus on environmentalism-related temperance (though I have faith!).

Trump looked at his calendar. He had a Saturday afternoon lunch meeting with a soybean tycoon in British Columbia named Edward Dubby (aka, 'the Kingpin') who was forging lucrative organic-farming deals between Canada and Brazil. Trump realized that if South America cornered the soybean market, America would take a serious blow in its pursuit of continental unity for free-market enterprises to compete continuously with the European Union and especially with its new 'rival,' China.

When Trump met Kingpin, he told him that he was a big fan of Brazil's lustrous soccer team and superstars such as Ronaldo and Pele. Kingpin explained the British Columbia was in a position to advance Canada's position in this new 'continental capital' game to compete with the European Union. Kingpin also told Trump he intended to forge trade negotiations with companies in Europe if American companies could not keep pace with this new Brazil-soybean plan. Trump was impressed with Kingpin's candor and assured him that Americans were seriously interested in streamlining farming and soybean production so as to work with Canada, Brazil, and other nations of the Americas.

Kingpin was very pleased to hear this and pulled out his baby photo (taken from when he was only an infant). He presented it to Trump and said, "When my parents saw this bright and idealistic smile on my face, they remarked that I would become a 'captain of humanity,' and I believe I have done something like that!" Kingpin told Trump to keep his baby photo and use it as a reminder that Canadians would do serious business with the Trump administration to strengthen continental stances on the free-market, if the Trump Administration exhibited serious focus on pro-capitalism initiatives (regarding organic farming, renewable energies, petroleum, and consumer electronics). Trump gave a sigh of relief and replied, "That's exactly why I wanted to assure you."

Yeah, we heard it all. Democrats are tired of capitalism and ran a Socialist and a socialist-lite for president. We even saw a recent news feed of Nancy Pelosi lecturing some kid that "capitalism isn't serving us". The problem for democrats is that they are stuck in the 60's while the world moved on. The rest of the freaking Country, outside of hypocrites in the the people's republic of California and hypocrite limousine liberals in New York City, believe in and thrive on capitalism. Look at the county election map, it's all red.
