16 Terror plots from 2009 and 2011 foiled. Sheer luck and civilians played roles in thwarting a number of these near attacks as did Internet spying.
I have gone through the list to determine which ones fall under the tale currently being told by the NSA. I've only found 2 where the use of direct internet spying was said to be involved. Most were undercover stings outside the internet.
24. Misc undercover

40. Internet Spying
These were foiled without the use of undercover. The bomb either didn't work, or the person was caught after purchase of items.

28. On a watch list prior to 2009 when NSA is said to start internet spying
29. Passengers saved the day. (Failed NSA Foil)
31. After attempt arrest
32. Paper list given to FBI
34. Packages sent from overseas Saudi Arabia was tipster.
