You continue to vote for Republicans who crash the economy every time they're in office. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity.
Left wing western democracies with based Keynesian economics have come through the pandemic much more successfully than the USA, but then the USA had the WORST outcome in the first world, and continues to lead the world in deaths from the disease.
The costs of testing and treating so many victims of the disease resulted in record deficits. At some point, you're going to have to make people financially responsible for their refusal to vax because right wingers have no real concept of "personal responsibility" as long as someone else foots the bill for their foolishness.
The behaviour of the radical right has driven tens of thousands of doctors and nurses right out of the field of medicine. Today's patients are going batshit crazy because doctors won't treat them with ivermectin or whatever quack cure is currently being promoted by the internet. That's in addition to the thousands who died treating the sick.
You're now doing the same thing to teacher in red states over the farcical idea that primary, middle and high schools are teaching CRT. Or "Don't say 'gay'". What kind of idiocy is that.
Your country is having a nervous breakdown. Crime and violence are rising. Half the people believe stuff that simply isn't true. And one political party is intent on gaslighting the nation.
You don't know what's real and what isn't.
