Sorry bout that,

  1. Just watching this honoring of McCain on NBC.
  2. And was wondering *WHY*?
  3. Lets debate it.
  4. We ALL know he wasn't conservative.
  5. Why didn't he just switch parties?
  6. Was he an obstructionist?
  7. Did he just want to be different, not like all the others?
  8. I'm sure some of you have some great views to share on this.
  9. I can't wait to read what they entail.
  10. I listened to the people who spoke and had to listen to the lies, he wasn't ALL that and a bag of chips, he was nothing like they said, I know they were trying to be kind, but it just made his life that more pointless hearing all those lies, after his whole life was lie based.
  11. Lets hear it!

He believed in compromise. Nothing wrong with that. Except he
was the one that gave up anything meaningful.

He was more than happy to be called a "maverick" and libs would
oblige him. Why wouldn't they...they always got what they wanted
when he dealt with them.

A good example or correlation might be made by the current crisis
within the democratic party. Pelosi and Schumer are always called
on to step down and infighting continues. The country passed McCain
by. He became out-of-touch with the GOP electorate that was always
pissed that their elected reps would not fight back. His ego was hurt.
When Trump insulted him and still got elected...McCain got a case of
butt-hurt like the World has never seen. He knew that The Donald meant
more to the American People than he did...his ego was smashed.

I always get a little fight that goes on inside of me when I have to critique
a Vietnam Vet. I, also am a Vet and he was my brother-in-arms. But
when he went thumbs down on Obamacare after saying for 8 years how
he wanted it repealed...I lost all respect for him as a man. He was just
worrying about his butt-hurt ego and was sticking it to millions of people
who supported him and believed in him.

He can have two more days of tributes. Tomorrow is College Football
so I won't have to watch that. Sunday will be the funeral and after that
he'll be out of the way.

I voted for that man in 2008 and I always respected him being a Combat
Vet. But the last two years, all I wanted to do was spit in his face. (I don't
take kindly to being betrayed)

1. Your post tells it all, you said the truth, and I appreciate that.
2. You feel betrayed, and I see his betrayal as being a fraud.
3. I see what you mean, he betrayed Americans sea to sea when voted down the obamacare dismantle, his word meant nothing to him, your butt hurt statement makes sense, seeing he always lost, never won anything, he hurt more people then he helped.
4. Seeing he lied all the way through life one can say he knew how to lie real well.
5. Well that is all I guess that can be said about old John, sad man he was indeed.
