Man. Where evolution went tragically wrong.

Organisms compete with other organisms for resources in order to survive. Humans got too good at it having a higher intellect, plus we can breed year round.

Brainiacs say we gain an upright gait first ... which allowed us to simply walk off with the leopard's kill and eat it in our place of safety ... it was after our brains got bigger ... our main advance is our horrific taste, nothing eats us ... which allowed us to climb down from the trees and develop an upright gait ...

Early humans were easy prey for the medium-sized predators ... they just couldn't stomach us except as carrion ... and the older the better ...

Those Who Are Sitting Pretty Tell Us to Sit Still

Profit creates competition for those who inherited their wealth and are incapable of improving. All their moralizing is for their own smug and lazy benefit.
I'm sitting pretty and I encourage others to work their asses off in pursuit of their dreams.

Slightly off topic but it occurs to me that many are quite happy leading an indolent, uninspired, unmotivated, unproductive life. Of course, this is possible to do in a rich country as the scraps are more than enough to provide for such people.

Too simplistic. We are tropical animals and can live in 'harmony' with nature only there. We've managed to populate the entire globe, I cant think of another creature that has done that. We don't destroy our environment, we adapt it to us. The exact opposite of all other creatures.
We are destroying our/the environment, and rather than adapting to us it's killing us.

According to evolution theory a changing environment forces changes in organisms, changes that will provide a better chance of surviving those changes. Man, under evolutionary pressure changed from an organism well suited to survive in harmony with the environment to one that must destroy his environment in order to survive.
Humans evolved from apes and our closet relative is the chimpanzee, this was around 7 million years ago. Humans were still ape like till about 4 million years ago, and evolved in a place that we now call Africa. So we are the human race. As humans migrated around the continent(s), the individual environments evolved humans further into different skin colour, physical features, and language.

So in essence, there's one race, the human race. The human race didn't evolve from apes in several different locations around the world.

But here we are today, people thinking there's different human races and disagreeing with one skin colour is now called racism.

If anyone disagrees, I'm interested in knowing which science link states humans evolved from apes, but in multi parts of the planet at the same time.

Or maybe it's because we have a purpose.

Spiritual purpose? ... evolution is silent in that regard ... if you'd bother to learn, you'd have known that ... like a house cat, you can't learn anything is seems ...

Is purpose an inherited traits ... or does God set our purpose individually? ... does God set each dog's purpose individually and how would the dog know, not having partaken in the fruit of Good and Evil knowledge? ... don't you read? ...

22 - And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
23 - Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
24 - So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
