So if the Republicans all go home with nothing accomplished, what will the House rules allow the Democrats to do? There will be one side in Washington, allowing that the United States stay open. There will be a sitting Executive with possible authority to cite a "rebellion."

Effectivelly, anyone might wonder if the example of Martial Law creating Abe Lincoln, would apply again? The Republicans could be called, "In Rebellion," with all kinds of Civil Liberties suspended in their case.

The Republicans had tried the concept, "Government Shutdown," when Clinton was in office. The "people" who vote came not to be on their side. Within about ten years, this above appears in a different money bill.
