All of Mexico's foreign aid should be diverted to what we are having to spend on these 'asylum seekers'. That is what all the illegals are being advised to do, file for asylum even though only a small percentage actually qualify.

A friend of mine who was deported to Honduras under the Obama administration has crossed back and forth into Mexico through Guatemala for work. He does this without even having an ID. He doesn't want to come back to the US because he gets plenty of construction work in Mexico and travels back to Honduras when he feels like taking a break. I have visited Honduras many times and the reports of people's lives being in danger there are way overblown. It's just like East L.A. If you are involved in gang culture, you are in danger. If you have nothing to do with that life, life is peaceful enough. There is high unemployment, especially among older tradespeople because by the time you are 40 there, you are basically washed up. That's why my friend travels to Mexico. As far as people crossing into the US from these countries, they all know that the first thing they need to ask for is political asylum if they get caught.

As far as why my friend was deported, his girlfriend moved back to Honduras and he decided to let his work permit lapse and get a free plane ride back on President Obama. These people are not dumb.
