Michael Kofman is so interesting, lived in Ukraine, born Soviet, US analyst on Russia. Says that Russia's mistakes in Ukraine are no different than what NATO does.

That NATO is just as unprepared.

That NATO for the last 60 years hasn't fought a real military in a real war, but only provincial wars such as Iraq.

Ukraine is the first war between 2 conventional standing armies since Korea.

Oh sorry, I didn't realize a rotting carcass of a starving dictatorship that had a no-fly zone and was being bombed for 12 years and couldn't import a banana was somehow a major military threat.

Well, when in doubt, best to go back to NATO's origins: the Korean War. If you have to ask, you're already screwed.
