Mitt Romney: This is why the GOP believes in family values

So next time, Dems give you sheeot about pimping family values, tell them to stuff it. They are important and absolutely need to be a part of the political discourse.

To what end. To attempt to legitimize the right’s desire to legislate morality. To justify the right’s desire to discriminate against those who don’t conform to the conservative ‘ideal.’ Or is it simply a manifestation of the right’s inability to cope with a complicated, diverse world they fear and don’t understand.

It is horseshit because you take issue with the facts, or is it horseshit because it gives you great butthurt to face simple truths?

I take issue with the idea that anyone thinks it's a big revelation that graduating from HS will mean you'll get a better job, or that having a job means you're less likely to be poor.

The point, of course, is the deviant family-destructive behavior Lefty supports and pretends to be normal is quite likely to land a person in poverty.

Conservatives want to cut educational assistance, and cut healthcare for poor kids. What kind of behaviour does that encourage?

People need to be responsible unto themselves
progressive socialism has dumbed us out of personal responsibility
We are taught that the nanny state will take care of us.
Time to bring back personal responsibility.
Teach skills knowledge objectivity not agendas
We teach kids gay is okay but they can't spell for shit.

My fiancée and I will NOTbring a child into this world the way the left is destroying fundamental values.

Kids don't know shit about objectivity or worldgeography..
But sure as hell know what liberally separative groups to be sensitive to.

Yes, but that was cancelled out by Obama saying something about his parents and Selma, AL that was erroneous.

Mitt Romney gave a speech at Liberty University. He cited a Brookings Institute study. If a person graduates high school, gets a job, gets married and then has a child; the odds he will be poor is two percent. If those factors are not in place, it is 76 percent!

I think I'm more worried about others passing around that more than likely inaccurate statistic than the fact that he'd say it. I'm used to him doing that.

That's great! So in order to improve our economy, we need to make sure that gay people can get married and adopt!
Thanks for pointing that out! Great post!

No, we want to cut healthcare for rich seniors and educational assistance for degrees in Greek mythology.
"Educational" debt is currently larger than credit card debt.
Most of the debt students take on is for room, board and living expenses.
Let them live at home and go to a local college.

"I am for family values" is the catch phrase politicians use on the dumb asses.
I am waiting for the candidate to announce "I am the anti family values candidate" just to show how naive and gullible the dumb masses are that gobble up the "family values" bull shit.
We hear this BS along with all the gay boogeyman nonsense every election cycle. The voters eat it up as they have no clue about the economy, the war and the deficit.
It used to be "the ******* want our white women" and now it is "the gays have ruined family values".
The voters are too ignorant to know any better.
