If Moscow empire invades Alaska , or Northern California will our MAGA and commie members fight back? You will "offer a good deal" to Moscow 🇷🇺 tsar instead?

WE all know that Americans dont WANT TO fight war- war (a real war). And Moscow 🇷🇺 imperialists know it.

ask YOURSELF

Why were poor, backward , aggressive nomadic (outgunned, outnumbered) armies so successful (often) against settled super RICH empires throughout history?

The Huns, the Magyars , Arabs (in VII c. ) the Jurchens, the Turks, Manchus, the Mongols, etc.

Lol, from dmitri who preaches perpetual war and constant begging for more war funds.
Geographically it makes more sense for Alaska to be part of Canada than the USA. But Russia began establishing settlements in Alaska I think in the 1780's though not all that many Russians chose or were ordered to live in Alaska. Currently out of an Alaskan population of roughly 730,000, about 25,000 are descendants of those Russian settlers. Certainly not enough to justify a Russian invasion on behalf of Russian citizens. The Russian and Alaskan coasts bordering the Bering Strait are only some 50 miles apart.

By the mid 19th Century, Russia was having its own serious problems suffering humiliating defeat and great expense in a Crimean war. They considered selling off at least some of itheir North American holdings. Russia also feared England would seize Alaska by force and it was ill equipped at that time to prevent that. And relatively few Russian Alaskans were involved. So it jumped at the chance to sell Alaska to the USA.

I'm sure there is some seller's remorse now that Alaska has turned out to be so rich in natural resources. But jokes aside, I don't think there is any serious interest for Russia to invade Alaska or make any demands despite disinformation being spread over the internet and apparently also here at USMB. :)
