If she knows nothing about cooking, then WHY wasn't she ejected from the restaurant?

I'm not sure that knowing how to cook is a requirement to be served at a restaurant.

If it were, my ex-wife would have starved to death years ago.
 
Just watched a similar incident at a local BBQjoint. lady had them take her food back for the same reason and ordered something else from the menu.
 
I make sausage from scratch....
I obviously use pork.

I have to add extra fat to the sausage mix because pork shoulders don't have enough...so usually I use smoked hog jowl or smoked fat back to bring up the fat content.

These fats are cured and smoked....like bacon or hams are. However....the curing of these fats will make my sausage pink....I can't stop or curb the chemical reaction....just like smoke rings affix the color of the meat.

And for some people this is extremely off putting....they are nuts...but they do exist. We got crazies all over the world.
