Friend of ours was clearing brush in his back yard about 3 years ago and a 6 foot Pacific Coast Rattler nailed his hand...no warning, gave him a full bag of venom....he called 911 on his cell, they had him at the hospital in less than 15 min....for about a year later still had to debride the dead tissue.
