Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from being offended. As A matter of fact if some speech offends you it's a good sign freedom of speech is practiced. I use the word Negro and many poorly educated democrats are angry even though I have posted links to Websters SHOWING what the word truly means VS what many are told it means.Seriously? Not a word I use as I find it distasteful, but... They censored that word here at USMB? Wow... I'd like to know the reasoning behind that...
I get your point, Flanders, and I get your frustration, but you do neither your argument or yourself any favors by choosing to repeatedly inject your post with a word so many find offensive. I'm pretty sure you don't care...
Democrats can barely speak english. The word the OP used has two OTHER meanings BOTH of which are older. Now the OP used it to describe a ethic in work NOT a race as proven by his invoking Pelosi so nothing racial there.
The even OLDER term means people from Nigeria and was coined about the 14th century. So just like Americans mean FROM America Nig-gers USED to mean from Nigeria.
So if you re-read the OP and invoke the PROPER english you will see it was NOT written to offend. It is NOT the job or requirement for the OP to instruct you in PROPER english. That is YOUR job as a reader or poster.
