'No sir, you are not': Maine newspaper issues Trump civics lesson as he threatens state

That'll show him.

When all is said and done about the Trump sequel era, everyone will remember the editorial in a Maine newspaper.

Thinks literally nobody.

However, we will enjoy the return of Maine to the red column.

So thanks for taking asinine stands on asinine issues.

You make MAGA stronger every time.

A Maine newspaper? What, they have like 75 readers; outside of the USAID subscriptions, that is.

Do you know..how black Meadowlark Lemon was? :auiqs.jpg:
I bet some of the youngers haven't seen the damn Globetrotters.
Yeah, that's an American thing they should see.
Before there was Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, there was Meadowlark Lemon and Curly Neal.

So much for states rights.

In a 1987 Supreme Court case, South Dakota lost a challenge to a provision of the Highway Act that held that a state could lose its federal highway money if it set a drinking age under 21.

Then, in 1989, enforcing the 55 MPH speed limit.

The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco on Thursday upheld the right of the federal government to impose a 55-m.p.h. speed limit on highways by threatening to withhold highway construction money from states.

You take the Feds money, you do the Feds bidding. Don't take the Feds money, then you have state's rights.

Libs in Maine hate biological women

You take the king's shilling, you are the king's man.

What you are arguing for is when the next (D) president happens (and it will) that they can just threaten state funding if they refuse to allow abortions.

Well said.

Oh so now you want states rights???? but not when it involves men in women's sports of gun laws or abortion laws...or drilling.... go away you fucking hypocrite....

Ignorant. I 100% support the 2nd and I'm pro-life. But don't let that stop your ranting.

The extension of Title IX to boys pretending to be girls was NOT done by Congress, but rather by irrational regulatory action. Federal LAW is on Trump's side.

Furthermore, even the people of Maine are not so addled as to want BOYS kicking girls' asses in interscholastic sports. Is that really where this governor wants to plant her flag?

Trump may not be able to punish the entire state for having a Leftist twit for a governess, but he can make them suffer a bit.
