Reuters) - North Korea held back seven of 50 remaining South Koreans at the suspended jointly run factory zone north of the heavily armed border on Monday, citing last-minute checks on taxes and wages.

Since they have suddenly decided to try a US citizen for trying to topple the government, are they up to something here as well?

If history repeats itself I would guess they are pulling all this in hopes in getting some 'ransom' out of it all.

"'For North Korea, Bae is a bargaining chip in dealing with the U.S.,' said Koh Yu-hwan, a professor of North Korean Studies at Dongguk University in Seoul, South Korea. 'The North will use him in a way that helps bring the U.S. to talks when the mood slowly turns toward dialogue.'"

Maybe Dick and Dubya should saddle up?
Clinton and Carter have already taken their turns.
