Spending over $600 Million, the federal government can't make a functional website for healthcare quoting. Now I understand that it's complicated and intricate, but eHealth has been doing this exact thing for years. They have a very reliable infrastructure to do multi-source quoting of all sorts of plans for everyone out there. They also have a web site. So for the cost of rolling out this monstrosity of Healthcare.gov, they could have just bought eHealth.com which already works and makes a profit.

So tell me again how this "Affordable" Care Act is a good thing?

I typed $600 BILLION originally. That's obviously not true. That said, the point stands.

It would have been cheaper to buy then entire company that operates a national insurance exchange.
