Obama's tribute to Margaret Thatcher

"With the passing of Baroness Margarwt Thatcher, the world has lost one of the great champions of freedom and liberty, and America has lost a teue friend. As prime minister she helped restore the confidence and pride that has always been the hallmark of Britain at its best."

5 moments that show why Margaret Thatcher mattered in American politics

5) Spurning Sarah Palin: In 2011, the Guardian newspaper reported that Thatcher would not be meeting with Sarah Palin during Palin’s trip to London. “Lady Thatcher will not be seeing Sarah Palin. That would be belittling for Margaret. Sarah Palin is nuts,” the paper quoted one Thatcher ally as saying. The rejection sparked an outcry among conservatives in the United States, lending a great deal of attention to the non-meeting.

This has to be one of the biggest pieces of liberal tripe to ever be cut out of liberal gut.

In 2008 Thatcher's daughter revealed that her Mum was suffering from Alzheimers and had been showing symptoms since 2003. By 2011 Lady Thatcher didn't know who she was, much less know who Sarah Palin was. Lady Thatcher took no visitors.

Lady Thatcher, one of the most commanding figures of the 20th Century, struggles to finish sentences, does not know where she lives and even forgets that her husband Denis is dead.

Margaret Thatcher's mental decline revealed by her daughter - Telegraph

Yet the utterly evil, degenerate and despicable left deludes itself by claiming that in 2011, Margaret Thatcher refused to meet with Sarah Palin because Palin is "nuts".

It's the left that's nuts. And they depend on everyone else being as nuts as they are.
