Think there will be a single imam calling for the Muslim terrorists in Paris to turn themselves in and end the hostage stand-off peaceably? We will see.

Here is what a couple honest Islamic groups had to say about yesterday's attack. Imams right now have probably locked themselves in their mosques so they do not have to answer any questions. They are probably working on what they will say that will sound pretty after this latest incident is over, and what they will say to their followers.

“Al Qaeda in Yemen is a very dangerous group,” former CIA Deputy Director Mike Morell told “CBS This Morning” on Thursday. “I think it’s actually the most dangerous terrorist group out there. They said just a few days ago that they want to conduct attacks against the West.”

Both al Qaeda and the Islamic State group have repeatedly threatened to attack France, which is conducting airstrikes against extremists in Iraq and fighting Islamic militants in Africa.

One of the two suspects in the Charlie Hebdo shootings in Paris was mentored by an associate of Abu Hamza, the former imam of Finsbury Park mosque in London, according to a report.

“There is no doubt that you can see the influence of their teachings in him (Beghal),” he told The Telegraph.

“Their warped view of the world has filtered down through him to a new generation. What happened in Paris was the legacy of Abu Qatada and Abu Hamza.

“A completely new generation, who have never met these people in London, have learned their ideology indirectly and are now willing to die in jihad.”

Beghal is said to have once claimed to have created terrorist cells in the UK, France, Germany and Spain.

Those who try to take religion out of the equation will never fully grasp what is going on. Those who do not believe in religion have no clue how much danger they are really in.

Thankfully no more innocents died. The three gunmen at the two locations were killed and the hostages freed, from initial reports.

Lessons learned? Here is a question for the Muslim community: Are these three now sitting pretty with their god? Are these defenders of their faith in the heaven which was promised them?
