...a little bit of onion, some garlic, some olive oil and you can make anything taste good :)

Or quite a bit of onion and garlic. Works for me with just about anything but dessert.

Any decent cook always has onions in the kitchen, they are as important as having a pan to cook in

I never cook a decent meal without them, and bacon too.

Bacon on pizza and in spaghetti sauce is awesome

I wouldn't say they smell like propane, but they can smell pretty funky. Especially ones cut and laying in the fridge for like a day :p

I love Vidalias and Bermuda

Nothing better than onions carmelizing on a grill

I like Texas Sweets, Walla Walla, and Vidalia onions. I liked them cooked, or on hambergers. Now I'm getting hungry for an In and Out berger, I haven't had one of those in 2 years.

Do you love em, hate em, or something else?

I hate onions unless im using them when making something like soup or pasta sauce.

No onions on my burger, no onions in my salad, no onions in the woman's mouth before she kisses me :).

What about you guys? What do you think about Onions?

Onions go with anything except dessert, and cereal.

Onions? I always have them on-hand, both conventional and green varieties. They go in virtually everything I make.

Sometimes, the simplest ways are the best.

With apologies in advance to Paul Simon

Something tells me its all happening
in cuisine
Or so they tell me..
in Gourmet magzine.

Onions are reactionary,
Cantelopes are visionary,
And the rudabaga's kindly
but it's dumb.

Artichockes are skeptical of free range quacamole
And the apples are quite bitter
cause they're young.
