While the sign is accurate (and then some), the teacher handled this poorly.

If he used trump as an opportunity to teach, he would have been 100% correct. Age appropriate of course but what pops to mind is to assign at least two pov, maybe more, and, using only provable facts, have the students argue their position.

Just about the biggest threat trump poses is his off handed statements about how he wants to gut the constitution. Even though he says it often and started saying it long before the election, the trumpkins have agreed with him.

IMO, we need to teach kids how to recognize just how dangerous this is.
