And progressives whine about XL!

If regressive turds stop whining it will be because there was a coronal mass ejection, society broke down and the ghetto rats invaded the cities and suburbs to cannibalize people stupid enough to remain there without any weapons.

Then why do we need another pipeline ? Especially to tar sands .

And that's "all commodities " . So not just oil pipelines . Why bother pointing out gas pipelines etc..

Well, to be perfectly honest, I never did figure out why they needed a special pipeline.

But, with all these miles upon miles of existing pipelines, what's the big deal about one more?

Oh yeah - so some are liquid petroleum while others are LG. So what?

I fully support giving away American land to foreign countries, and making damn sure that HUGE Saudi refinery in Tx makes billions of $$$.

go XL !

There are no Aramco refineries in Texas, however Shell and Aramco are joint shareholders in the Motiva refinery in Port Arthur, TX.

No land is "given" away.

the issue isn't a pipeline, the issue is tar sands oil .

Well the Keystone is completed to the Gulf. The protestors missed the building of the Southern Lights and Alberta Clipper. And the tar sands oil is coming via pipelines and trucks and rail.

Because of the bullshit over pipelines you have the potential of massive ecological damage because the rail systems are now linked to gigantic barges taking the oil down the Mississippi.

Athabasca on the Mississippi baby! You get a giant oil spill in the Mississippi you will only have yourselves to blame.

A ceremonial turning of the valve during the Port Arthur Crude Expansion celebration on May 31 in Port Arthur, Texas. The Motiva Refinery is a joint venture between affiliates of Shell and Saudi Aramco. With the expansion, it is now the largest oil refinery in North America with a daily crude oil processing capacity of 600,000 barrels per day.

go Saudi !!!

Analyze a sample of oil extracted from tar sands versus one got from an oil well. You will see no difference.

It's HOW they get that oil out. It's a nasty destructive process. They ain't just pumping it from the ground like we all picture texas style drilling .

I already told you that Motiva was a joint venture between the Dutch and the Saudi's.

How is it "nasty and destructive"?

Most of the world's oil is in the form of tar sands. More than 2 trillion barrels.

Why don't you vow to stop using petroleum products? You can start with that computer you're using.

Saudi Aramco is already the world’s biggest oil company with monopoly rights over Saudi Arabia’s 260 billion barrels of proven oil reserves and the world’s fourth-largest natural gas reserves. But with the Motiva refinery’s increased capacity, the Saudi company is also now well on its way to achieving its goal of surpassing Exxon Mobil as the world’s largest refiner in the next few years, with joint ventures in places like China, South Korea, India and the Netherlands.

go Saudi !!! ... export baby, export !!!

WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO !

It's how you define largest. In Revenue Shell is the largest with Exxon at number two followed by Aramco then British Petroleum.

In reserves, PetroChina Co. is number one, Exxon at two, Egyptian General at three, Petroleum Corp at four and BP at five.
