Parler CEO ‘Prepared to Take Full Legal Action’ After Big Tech Companies Target Platform

We will see what happens. Now that the legal system is no longer functional, it would not be surprising if they threw the case out based on "standing" or maybe they sued too late since after all, they sued after the fact.

Sorry but the legal system is still fully functional and there WILL be repurcussions

I'm okay with this. There may be an antitrust violation here. It's worth looking into
Not even close.

It's your Democratic Party that plans on going after Big Tech over the amount of control they have regarding information.

Do you really think they mean that? Considering big tech is targeting the enemies of the democrat party and China?

From the article;
Apple said in a statement to media outlets on Saturday that they believe Paler had “not taken adequate measures to address” the proliferation of “threats of violence and illegal activity.”

“We have suspended Parler from the App Store until they resolve these issues,” the statement said.

Apple did not respond to The Epoch Times’ questions about the ban.

Similarly, Amazon told Parler that they would be shutting Parler’s servers at midnight Sunday, Jan. 10, over what it says is the platform’s alleged lax approach to violent content posted by its users. Parler disputes this claim.

They are lying.......the national socialists blamed the Jews for the loss in World War 1...........socialists lie....

They want to make the companies their Stalinist arm.

Absolute lunacy to believe the democrat party is going to do anything except destroy the first amendment, along with attempting to destroy the second. They have started already.

It would be REAL interersting to see how that all went down in Court
Censoring the president...no big deal.

They are under no obligation to give anyone, including the President, a platform

Yes...actually, they are. The protections they get from the government from libel and slander laws say that they are not just private companies. They have violated that protection by becoming editors over simple platforms.......

The one thing the democrats will do is use their power to get the big tech companies to go faster and harder against the enemies of the democrat party and china...

Let 'em have their way maybe. The next 4 years will be
real interesting -- the Dems appear to have the White House and a majority in Congress, but it will be SHORT- LIVED- you can count on the tables turning starting in 2022..... this could be the #1 issue.

What legal action can he take? Follow the rules or you don't get to use the platform. You can't sue people for enforcing the rules you signed up for.

You most certainly can sue for unfair or discriminatory enforcement of rules, or enforcement or illegal rules that are arbitrary and in violation of inherent rights.

Monopolies can not demand you sign up for arbitrary rules.

Communications companies most certainly ARE required to give an equal platform to all political beliefs.
It not only is spelled out specifically in the FCC regulations that allowed private use of the government internet, but is a basic internet right from day one this country was created as a democratic republic.

Doesn't change the fact that suspending an account that refuses to follow known rules isn't an anti trust violation.

It may be when only a handful of companies work together to control the access. Preventing that is the point of antitrust laws. I guess we'll see in time as this plays out.
Not when the rules are common sense, like "don't plot treason".

Wrong.
It is Congress that is guilty of treason, such as lying about Iraqi WMD and getting 6,000 US soldiers killed based on those lies.
In fact, the war on drugs, 3 strikes laws, federal gun control, and most of what congress has done is illegal and treason.
Occupying congress was likely one of most democratic things that have happened on the last century.
Long over due.
Even though I do not at all support Trump in any way.

This is very simple and basic contract law.

parler signed a contrat with Amazon. In that contract they said they read and understood all of Amazon's rules. In that contract they agreed with Amazon that if they violated the rules they agreed to Amazon can terminate the contract.

parler broke the contract.

Thus Amazon enforced their contractual right to terminate the contract.

parler agreed with Amazon that Amazon could do exactly what they did if parler violated the contract they singed.

parler will be laughed out of court just the same way trump was with all his voting fraud and cheating cases were thrown out quickly.

Parler allowed their platform to be used to plot the Capitol attack

Fuck em

The occupation of congress was protected political expression.
Any sort of retaliation is totally and completely illegal.

Do you really think at this point the democrats care about giving up power again? That is why they stated openly that they were going to give the vote to 20 million non-citizens, why they are going to make D.C. and puerto rico states, to get 4 more democrat party senators to have permanent control of the senate, and why they are going to pack the Supreme Court and lower courts...so no one will be able to stop them through the court system...

this is an all out coup against the U.S.....and they plan on putting the country into a great depression to keep us from organizing against them, and they will mandate vote by mail fraud for the entire country....

I keep asking this. What rules were broken. I heard they were objecting to images of the protests on Wednesday.
Show me this in the original contract.
Also, explain how Pornhub was showing kiddie porn and were not deplatformed.
Maybe because Pornhub donated to the Biden campaign via BLM.

So why weren't the FBI aware of this attack.
Don't they have internet?
Why no arrests of Parler posters.
